FELMAUSA Secretary General Morris Kromah Clearance for Re-Election has been Revoked by WIMAM
June 15, 2009 WIMAM Press Release

Morris Kromah, FEMOUSA Secretary General and a member of Wisconsin chapter

Wisconsin - In the midst of the FELMAUSA convention, the leadership of the Wisconsin Mandingo Association (WIMAM) and the community at large have moved very swiftly with recommendation to the board of directors to impeach FELMAUSA president Richmond Konneh and his entire administration  and has also in good faith revoked FELMAUSA current secretary General Morris Kromah clearance issued on his behalf for re election because of the administration failure to produce accurate financial report and violating bureaucracy system by marginalizing the elected Financial secretary Hon. Mohamed Sheriff and treasurer Haja Massa Keita.

In a well attended town hall meeting on Friday June 12, 2009, the memberships of Wisconsin chapter were very much outraged about the poor leadership exhibited by Richmond and his administration. They demand through their president Alpha Kromah and vice president Abdulai Dukuly, both of whom are members of the board directors a complete comprehensive financial report from the current administration and also recommend that the current administration be dissolved and replace by an intern leader that free from corruption, dishonesty and nepotism as a way of ensuring free, fair and transparent election. WIMAM is very dismayed by the defense of the current administration that FELMAUSA is at the embryonic stage after two years of mismanagement. Giving two years to this very administration is tantamount to the destruction of our dear noble organization. The peoples of Wisconsin say NO! NO! To Richmond administration and to all of his failed policies.

It’s base on these reasonable arguments that the FELMAUSA secretary general who is also a member of our's chapter clearance for re- election is revoked.  His clearance revocation is an indictment of his silence as a secretary for two years while the administration is carrying on financial mismanagement and abuse of power. Morris Kromah has failed us a community. We believe that his loyalty lays in personality than the community and as such his clearance has been REVOKED.

The recommendation for impeachment and revocation of Morris Kromah clearance were based on public demand during the town hall meeting and below are the quotes of some of the great speakers:

Alpha Kromah, WIMAM press. “There is no financial account for FELMAUSA and the president Richmond Konneh had failed to produce one when he was invited by the board a week in advance to produce financial report. I don't trust them any more, they have to go!”.

Abdulai Dukuly, WIMAM V.P. “FELMAUSA is at the point of collapsing and need to be saved. Failure on the part of the administration to produce financial report is a shame and greed which has no place in our modern society. I recommend impeachment, the revocation of Morris Kromah clearance and above all legal actions".

ong>Mr. Mohamud Kromah, “It is a shame that common illiterate women in the hair braiding shop can make better account of their business but a master degree holder heading an organization can not. Overshadowing the elected financial secretary and the treasure is a complete violation of the democratic institute we are trying to build”.

Abraham Donzo, WIMAM speaker “Stepping down or not re – running is not the end; the board should take legal action against the administration to ensure that our money is pay back. They have failed us miserably”.

Laye Musa Kromah, question directed to Morris Kromah, “Why the administration did not report the financial secretary for not doing his job as you claimed, why you have education fund displaced on the web site but not the organization budget? This is a blunder and I recommend impeachment”.

Siaka Toure, “I recommend impeachment of Richmond administration for their blunder and to withdraw the clearance issued to Morris Kromah for re run for secretarial post because it doesn't’t make sense to recommend impeachment for someone at the same time recommending him for the same job”.

May God bless FELMAUSA!!!!!!!!---------- Amina
