WIMAM Congratulate LIMANY for humanitarian outreach!
November 7, 2007
WIMAM executive meeting.
According to Aristotle, the highest human good is eudemonia, meaning well-being and happiness, as demonstrated by LIMANY in their recent trip to Liberia to distribute relief supplies to Liberians in need.
LIMANY's decision to send relief supplies to Liberia was a step in the right direction. Their efforts included the donation of computers and books for deserving students at the University of Liberia, some hospital supplies and equipment, in addition to clothing and shoes for orphaned children. Such a humanitarian gesture proved LIMANY's ongoing commitment, love and concern for the Mandingo and Liberian community at large.
We at WIMAM would like to take this opportunity to thank LIMANY for their strong efforts and their 18 years of commitment to the Mandingo community. Their leadership serves as an example of strength coupled with their informative and fair reporting of all issuses pertinent to our comunity in the diaspora. WIMAM will continue to work with LIMANY and all our other sister organizations to promote peace, love and unity with in our community with sincerity, truthfulness and respect.
